Four goals. One responsibility.
Our four global goals
Four connected dimensions of responsible medicine supply. These are guiding goals, not a claim that an agreed global programme already exists.
01 / Regional resilience
Cooperation beyond borders
Critical medicines need dependable supply options. We support regional cooperation that can combine production capacity, diverse suppliers and contingency planning without asking every country to make everything itself.
02 / Sustainable production
Health without environmental harm
Medicines should not shift health costs onto workers, nearby communities or ecosystems. Production standards and purchasing decisions should consider pollution, resources and working conditions.
03 / Fair contribution
Value that benefits society
Public research, health systems and communities all contribute to the conditions in which medicines are developed and sold. We want more transparent discussion of public support, economic value and social return.
04 / Sustainable access
Medicines within reach
A treatment only serves people when it is available and affordable where they live. Supply planning should be judged by real access, not production volume alone.
Regional cooperation
Why regions matter
National self-sufficiency is not the goal. Major regions can cooperate across borders to maintain enough capacity, diversify risks and plan for disruption. Global trade and regional resilience can work together.
